研究內容概述:
Askaryan Radio Array (ARA) is a large-scale radio Cherenekov detector which scientists propose to develop in Antarctica, aiming for discovering the origin and evolution of the cosmic accelerators that produce the highest energy cosmic rays, by means of observing the ultra high energy (UHE) cosmogenic neutrinos. To optimize the angular resolution of the incoming UHE neutrinos, which is essential to point pack to the source of the cosmic accelerators, the study of the relation between the reconstruction capabilities of ARA and the geometry design of it can not be ignored. Configuration of the array, station spacing, and antenna spacing are possible fine-tuning parameters. We intend to employ the CPU gird to obtain the optimization of this radio array.
