研究內容概述:
In this study we reported a series of funtionalized polyamides and polyimides consisting of electron-donating N,N’-bis(4-aminophenyl)-N,N’-di(4-methoxylphenyl)1,4-phenylenediamine [(OMe)2TPPA-diamine] which were prepared via phosphorylation polyamidation and chemical imidization for the memory device applications, respectively. Comparing to N,N,N’,N’-tetraphenyl-p-phenylenediamine (TPPA) unit, polymer containing (OMe)2TPPA-diamine unit have lower energy band gap and were expected to have lower turn-on voltage. The difference of linkage and energy bandgap between polyamide and polyimide were also expected to have diverse memory characteristics. The memory devices were prepared with the configuration of ITO/polymer/Al, and the memory properties were investigated by I-V measurements. Molecular simulation on the basic unit of polyamides and polyimides will be carried out by DFT/B3LYP/6-31G(d) with the Gaussian program.
